Trained as a banker at Bayerische Vereinsbank AG in Munich at the end of the 1980s. After his subsequent studies in business administration in Munich, he completed postgraduate studies at the Manhattan Institute of Management in New York, which he successfully completed in the summer of 1996.

Before joining PR1ME Aquila Partners AG, he gained valuable experience in various specialist and management positions at HypoVereinsbank, UBS and Credit Suisse.
